Developer API
Remember that your API key is a secret! Do not share it with others or expose it in any client-side code (browsers, apps). Production requests must be routed through your own backend server where your API key can be securely loaded from an environment variable or key management service.
All API requests should include your API key in the request query (in GET requests), and/or in the Authorization Header (in POST requests). For practical implementation, see Code Examples.
You can use your API key to authenticate on all Public API endpoints exposed by Tech Assistant for Blind.
Note: All API keys are enforced with a rate limit of 60 requests per minute (RPM) to prevent our system from overloading.
The API uses the same technology that is used on the Tech Assistant for Blind's website.

Reset Key
Is your API key exposed in any public version control or client-side code (e.g., browsers, apps, etc.)?
If so, you can delete the existing API key and create a new one.
Upon resetting the key, the existing one will stop working, and you can immediately begin using the new key. Rest assured, we will not assign the same key to anyone else.
Note: Please ensure that you are not using the existing API Key in any critical applications, unless you encounter an authentication error.
